About SIESTA KEY Area

Rare white quartz sand is one reason Sarasota Florida’s Siesta Key Beach is the most famous beach in the U.S., ranked number 1 by Trip Advisor’s “best beach rankings for the United States”. The large expanse of glimmering sand and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico attract families and couples with many attractions nearby. You can go kayaking, or shell collecting while soaking up the warm rays of sunshine and then visit the adjacent village for shopping and eating.

Siesta Key Beach is a delightful getaway destination. It is a crescent shaped barrier island south of Sarasota and is eight miles long. A stroll down the main street of Ocean Boulevard on wide brick walkways and crosswalks give you a heady, sweet scent with the floral landscaping among large black olive shade trees. Elegant lamp lights brighten a gazebo and benches for sitting and watching the waves lick up to the coastline.

For a relaxing vacation, you can visit one of the three spas on Siesta Key Beach for a massage. There are many outdoor activities to enjoy including kayaking and canoeing, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing for an adventurous spirit. You can charter a fishing boat or tour on a relaxing, warm afternoon while gazing at the emerald waters. The experienced fishing tour guides can direct you to where the fish are, so you are sure to make a big catch. After getting your catch of the day, the captain can fillet the fresh flounder and snapper for you to eat your catch that evening. Fish doesn’t get any fresher than this. WE OFFER COMPLEMENTARY BIKE RENTAL OR THERE ARE SEVERAL RENTALS SPOTS IN THE VILLAGE. Siesta’s bike path starts at the south end on Midnight Pass Road and goes up to the North Bridge. It’s a very enjoyable way to see OUR WONDERFUL SLICE OF PARADISE.
